CQ Dance Academy is a brand new dance school offering amazing classes for all ages.  With a fully correctly equipped dance studio located in Dysart QLD. CQDA is locally owned and operated by Miss Katie Griffiths.

 

Our aim is to provide fun,friendly & quality dance training in a qualified environment.

We offer classes for fun and fitness but we are also offering exams using the ATOD syllabus.

 

MISS KATIE

 

Miss Katie is Qualified in CSTD, ATOD and trained RAD Completing Advanced 1 qualifying her to teach the syllabus.She has been dancing since the age of 3 and studied full time performing arts at Danceworld301 in Melbourne.

Miss Katie has a very broad experience in every genre both performing and teaching having danced with singers such Human Nature,Bardot,David Campbell,The Corrs,Vanessa Amorosi

& Keith Urban.

*She has won several CSTD choreography awards,

*Best choreography award for the Queensland School Rock Eisteddfod Competition.

*Made the top 10 Finalists Dancers for Australian Dance idol.

*Made the top 15 Finalists for Dancer of the year Showcase. 

*Won many dance championships and Bursary Awards.

*Miss Katie studied drama with the BATS Theatre Arts Group from a young age and played many leading roles under the direction of the prestigious Pat Crowe.

*Lead Female Role in her High School Musical

*Studied Vocal training from the age of 5 and continued to further her skills with DW301 in Melbourne Victoria under the guidance of vocal coach (Norman Keller) who also trained Australian Idol Girl Group 'Young Divas'.

We also offer the chance for students to compete in local eisteddfods.

Using Miss Katies passion for performing and stage expertise the children will be able to participate in groups,duos or solos at the teachers discretion.
